This trip is an opportunity to dive into the guiding community of PLNU while hiking in the beautiful Laguna Mountains. With the PCT just miles from our campground we will have the opportunity to hike, explore, and bond.

About the trip & Itinerary

Looking to beat the heat, the group will meet in the ARC at PLNU at 7:00am and drive approximately 1 hour to the campground. From the campground we will set off to find adventure in the foot hills of Mt. Laguna. We will spend the majority of the first day on smaller hikes and team bonding. The second day we will have an opportunity to explore a second location and we will leave Mt. Laguna after lunch. Expect to active at PLNU before 4:00PM

Safety & Risk Management

The main risks of this trip involve the temperature and sun exposure. There is little shade along the trail; it is essential to remain hydrated and maintain continuous sun protection to avoid sunburn. Another risk is the trail terrain because of the many rocks along the trail; it is important to wear sturdy shoes and practice caution with footing while hiking.
